Finally Wano is over

Only if Wano wasn't so long it would have been best arc up till now.

So you rather have rushed arcs without proper storytelling and build up?
This is One Piece and since every arc from now on will be very important i expect them to be at least 3 years.
also, the next arc will start in January and the opening will probably get changed again.

The quality of one piece has gone down because they caught up to the manga. It isn't a rush issue, it is them being afraid to enter filler arc because Naruto traumatized everyone so much with god awful filler no one wants to do it.

Their solution to the problem is stretch out manga stories ungodly long and mess with the pace. Fights that should take 3 episodes now take 10 and you get a recap right after them.
Endings that should take 2 episodes get dragged out to five and you get a recap in between them.

They should just stop for a few years and pick it back up when the manga has finished or neared the end. Unfortunately they won't so the pacing will continue to be awful.

Wano had the potential to be the best arc ever but they stretched it out further than Luffy can stretch himself.

The thing is, G-8 was filler, yet everyone thinks of it as canon with how good it was, so a little bit of filler while they are traveling the seas is alright

There are no longer anime with fillers arc, the anime of Boruto and Dragon Ball Super are on hiatus.
you only have seasonal anime alongside new versions of old anime and Pokemon and Yu-Gi-Oh which arent based on manga nowadays.
One Piece will stay the same as it is right now so you can either endure it or continue to complain for 10 years or quit it for some years.

ah yes so we can get a demon slayer where it takes fucking forever to drop the episodes so you either read the manga or you wait 10 years for it to actually drop (SPOILERS: only to be very disappointed because the ending sucks)

Im a manga guy anyways and i really only watch sub because dub hasnt caught fully up yet and they drop about once every 1-2 months but i can honestly say if they go seasonal you wont see the ending for like 10-20 years. Demon slayer is over yet theyre nowhere near done with the anime at least with one piece we only have to wait around a year to see a chapter animated but if it was seasonal we'd have to wait several years. So yeah if you wanna see (spoilers again: elbaf) animated anytime in the next 5 years then shut ur whiny ass up and enjoy the anime like the normal people. if you cant manage that then read the manga and dont watch the anime until its over

No I won't and I am not saying that Wano wasn't good also I understand proper storytelling and build up takes time but remember... duration of an arc is really important factor for being best.

Stairs episode was neither, so was the episode with big mama looking at the viewer for 10m. I unerstand having slower pace but some episodes you can literally remove from the list and nothing changes.

It's not about rushed but about pacing. And there were soo many unnecessary fights that happened if didn't, wouldn't change the plot at all

OP arcs even in the manga drag on way too long. It always has, we don't need every minor character 12 chapter backstory just because they return to fist bump luffy after 700 chapters. Its just a way to drag the story out forever.

Jimebi isnt a minor character and Oden was a key character in Wano arc.

i believe oda just didnt want to overshadow current female characters with yamato, it seriously felt that way. Yamato would easily overcome boa, robin and maybe even nami.

its not just recap episode specials, they spend extra time with still-scenes and fit in filler recaps within proper episodes to as unnecessary bloat. Literally using every trick in the book to drag on what should have been 5 mins of normal seasonal anime into a full episode.

I would have respected them more if they tagged on a 5 minute ending song and had 5 minute intro / recaps than what they did to the story in general.

You are not the only one who is feeling this way bro, but let me tell you why the scenes aren't hitting the same way it used to be, because as the story progresses , many factors start to affect on it also the scenario changes and many more things... the new ones have their own significance and goodness, lets hope for the best...

wano really was 2 arcs in one. its better to think of wano and the raid as 2 different arcs because they really were

Also Wano was a good arc, the anime stretched it out but as for manga which is the source material this was one of the best arcs, I still love the Marineford arc which I consider the best from pre time skip, Wano arc was definitely the best from post time skip.

I would also have loved Yamato to join the crew but I guess it's too late for her to join and we're already nearing the end, also Wano needs strong fighters to defend itself so I guess it makes sense if she stayed behind.

The only part I didn't like in this saga was how Orochi was handled. I know what he did was unjustifiable, but everyone just brushes off the fact that the citizens persecuted the Kurozumi clan. If they don't face that and stop it, a new Orochi will just be born. And I know there will be a lot of people who'll think I'm nitpicky , but I couldn't manage to ignore it.

Eh, it's not that simple. It's brushed off because the timeline is relatively short. I'm not saying they deserved the lynch mob, but it's honestly kinda unreasonable to say something should've been done about it when it was so relatively fresh in the people's minds. Since the last time we know of that level of persecution was like 30yrs after the attempted coup.Then Orochi's actions after obtaining power reinforced the hatred of them. It won't be a plot point going forward though because Tama is the only living descendent to our knowledge.

I'm not into Scifi stuff, so that Vegapunk arc won't be for me but I'd still watch it for the plot lol
